This is my interpretation of the scene from my visit to see the Bass Harbor Head Light. This is a lighthouse located within Acadia National Park in the southwest portion of Mount Desert Island, Maine, marking the entrance to Bass Harbor and Blue Hill Bay.
Tall trees thrive on a rocky point off the coast near St. John's, New Brunswick. No people, no man made structures---just peace and solitude. The muted colors reenforce the feeling peacefulness.
